We had certain expectations about Phuket. It was supposed to be a relaxing getaway to a place where many have waxed lyrical about its pristine beaches, clear waters, awesome snorkelling … The photos looked amazing, and we took special care to pick a villa that was spacious and had an infinity pool overlooking the sea.
